Serra do Caramulo is home to the amazing Água Serrana, a company with a long history of producing water. Vitamina was the chosen agency to work on its new branding and website, incorporating both old and new elements.
Nestled in the Serra do Caramulo mountains, Água Serrana has been producing quality water for generations.
The company’s new website and brand feature a perfect blend of old and new, highlighting the stunning landscape that provides the pure, crystal-clear water they are known for.
Traditional details played an important role in the rebranding, including the clay vessel tradition for fetching water from the fountain, along with the need for modernization, rejuvenation, and a contemporary look.
With the central figure redesigned and a vibrant color palette, it creates a fresh and pure, yet strong and caring aesthetic.
Meanwhile, the website’s narrative is firmly grounded in the present, providing visitors with a sleek and modern way to interact with the brand.
Serrana’s new website, developed with Webflow, is built on the premise of giving users an immersive experience.
With different animations, such as the cursor with the water effect, it creates a unique experience that is both modern and captures the essence of the company’s long history. The contemporary layout and narrative help to bring the company’s story to life, while the new branding helps to combine the company’s rich history with a more modern look.
The user experience is central to the brand’s commitment to water capture and sustainability. The topographical map, videos, and smooth and multilayered navigation all work together to create a feeling of being a part of Serrana. By using these tools, the user is able to connect with the brand on a deeper level and feel more invested in its mission.
From the very first moment, Pedro Ribeiro, web developer for this project, wanted visitors to feel as if they were on an adventure, venturing into unknown territory.
To achieve this, he devised a unique animation for the entrance to the site. As visitors scroll down, they are accompanied by a bottle that appears to be floating through the air. The bottle interacts with the other elements on the page, giving the impression that it is leading the way.
For him, this animation was one of the main challenges of the entire project, but we think it was worth the effort!
