Exceeding the limits of what is possible was the goal when creating a new website for ITCenter.
The initial phase of the project involved gathering and analyzing the client’s requirements, and then creating a detailed plan for the website’s design and functionality. This involved working closely with the client to understand their specific needs and preferences, as well as researching industry best practices and trends.
We proposed a bold and innovative approach that broke away from traditional design methods while still maintaining a cohesive and modern look through a comprehensive color scheme.
Clear communication with ITCenter’s three key audiences: customers searching for technology solutions, partners seeking collaboration, and potential employees interested in job opportunities and company culture – was a top priority throughout the project.
From the outset, our focus was on elevating the power of ITCenter logo and infusing it with the themes of technology and innovation.
To achieve this, we developed a concept and moodboard that served as a guide for all design decisions, including patterns and animations.
Our ultimate goal was to create a website that exceeded current industry standards and stood out as truly unique. A major challenge we faced was seamlessly organizing and connecting the various solutions and expertises offered by ITCenter while ensuring all information was presented in a clear and easily accessible manner.
We chose Webflow, an advanced web design and development platform, to create a visually impressive and user-friendly website. Our integration with the powerful Odoo software allows ITCenter to continue providing their specialized IT capabilities and values, thus making the website a beneficial resource for businesses of all sizes.
The website is designed with a focus on user experience, providing a seamless browsing experience for all visitors. It is not only visually appealing, but also easy to navigate, making it an effective tool for ITCenter’s target audiences.
Nuno Costa, Backend developer at Vitamina, found that working on the IT Center website was a challenge due to the need to link forms to an external tool, Odoo. The team used the Webflow framework to create the forms, but had to connect to an API for submission.
The website is multilingual, which presented an additional challenge of manually creating semantics for the language change. Overall, the project was a great opportunity to apply Webflow to its full potential, but the team also gained a better understanding of its limitations and advantages in creating the frontend structure.
We faced several challenges such as tight deadlines, unexpected bugs, and changes. However, we were able to work through these challenges by utilizing our problem-solving skills, and by keeping open communication with the client.
