The result is Ivo: an intelligent, humanized chatbot strategically designed to meet the real needs of those seeking the institution.
This virtual assistant clarifies, in real time, all questions about programs, applications, deadlines, requirements, and institutional information. It responds clearly and naturally, based on always up-to-date information, and directs users straight to the right links.
But the real challenge was not only technical. It was human.
We were not looking to create a bot that simply delivered pre-programmed answers. We wanted to build a digital host capable of understanding poorly phrased questions, adapting to context, and communicating with empathy. An assistant that removes barriers between a question and its answer.
Developing an effective chatbot in an academic context required far more than technological integration. It was an exercise in strategy, curation, and long-term vision.
